THIN MAT ELECTRIC UNDERFLOOR HEATING
The Comfort Heat thin heating mats are ideal for small to large areas, can be used with all types of floor coverings and require only a thin covering of glue or Ardit, adding minimal height to the floor level.
Bathrooms are a rewarding room to heat with underfloor heating, as they can be dangerous and difficult to heat with traditional heating systems. Underfloor heating keeps a bathroom warm, dry and mould free, making it the ideal solution.
The thin mat system is typically used when there is no sand and cement screed being installed and tiles are being glued directly to the sub floor. The thin mat system is simple to roll out and typically warms quickly in around 1-2 hours.

INSTALLATIONS - BATHROOM
The Comfort Heat thin underfloor heating mat is laid after the waterproofing and fixed to the floor with hot glue or double-sided tape, ensuring no damage to the membrane. For small bathrooms our 300 wide, twin cable mat is ideal for manoeuvring around small areas with fixtures.
INSTALLATIONS - LARGE AREA
The Comfort Heat thin underfloor heating mat is laid directly on top of the sub floor and can be fixed to the floor with hot glue, nylon anchors or double-sided tape. For large areas Comfort Heat must be advised of any expansion joints in the slab as cable must not be installed over an expansion joint.
The thin Comfort Heat underfloor heating mat is a twin cable system, woven into a textile mat available in both 300mm and 500mm widths. Twin cables require only one end connected to power, making a vast difference during installation in small areas and large areas with multiple cables.
The thin Comfort Heat underfloor heating mat has a heat output of 150W /m². Available in factory terminated lengths ranging from 1mt up to 24mts.
