Carpet Underfloor Heating

Heating bedrooms with carpet underfloor heating is a smart alternative to standard heating systems as it is very safe, comfortable and takes up no space. There is nothing for little hands to touch and especially in bedrooms where space is commonly limited, underfloor heating offers and invisible, radiant heat keeping away from stuffy forced air heating systems.

Safe, invisible and comfortable bedroom heating

Electric carpet & timber underfloor heating mats have a super-fast response time, are easily installed on top of the underlay, and offer flexible temperature control you can quickly turn on and off.

Electric slab underfloor heating is installed prior to the slab pour. Slab heating can have any type of floor covering installed on top providing you do not penetrate the slab. Slab heating can be warmed overnight, during off peak electricity rates, and release that heat during the day due to slabs having excellent thermal mass. More responsive heating can be installed closer to the floor surface.

Electric screed underfloor heating is installed directly on the sub floor and must be covered by a sand and cement screed. Electric screed system has a fast response time and will heat up within 1-2 hours.

Electric thin mat underfloor heating is used when no screed is being laid, due to floor height limitations. Adding minimal height to your floor levels, the thin mat system sits within the tiles glue. A thin layer of Ardit can be laid on top at your tilers’ discretion. Electric thin mat system has a fast response time and will heat up within 1-2 hours.

Hydronic slab underfloor heating is ideal for large areas, 80m2+, where the slab is used as heat storage, creating thermal mass. The slab can heat during off peak times then slowly release the heat during peak periods, making in slab heating ideal when all day heating is required. Not ideal for holiday homes or small rooms as in slab heating can take 24-48 hours for the slab to heat up, depending on slab thickness and insulation.

Hydronic screed underfloor heating has a faster response time than slab heating. Any type of floor covering can be installed on top of screed underfloor heating providing you do not penetrate the sand and cement screed.

All products are available in DIY kits and controlled via a floor sensing thermostat ensuring a consistent and comfortable temperature.
