HYDRONIC RADIATORS
Hydronic radiator heating has resurfaced as a popular heating solution. Radiators are ideal in small to medium sized rooms that require fast responding heat. Used in conjunction with underfloor heating in the large open plan living areas, radiators are a smart option and easily retrofitting in existing dwellings. Because radiators heat small rooms quickly they are great for bedrooms and studies, as they heat the ambient air space, but offer no thermal mass.
RADIATOR TECHNOLOGY
Comfort Heat can source a range of radiators designs and in any colour to suit your project. For information on the full range of designs and styles please contact our office.
HEAT OUTPUT
Depending on the scale and construction of your build, radiators are sized accordingly. A combination of flow and supply temperature is balanced to suit the heat load requirement of a room.
INSTALLATION
Radiators can be floor or wall mounted, depending on the construction. Typically supply pipe is installed prior to the walls and ceiling being sheeted or before the floor is laid.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Allowances need to be made to feed supply pipe within walls, ceilings, floors and risers.
TEMPERING VALVE
All radiators and heated towel rails are installed with a thermostatic tempering valve allowing you to adjust the temperature of each radiator.
